Back to 35mm film
I recently picked up a secondhand Fujica ST605 film camera on eBay. It was the first SLR camera I'd owned, bought as a teenager from Vic Oddens at London Bridge in the early 1980s. It was only intended as a trip down memory lane, but it seemed a waste to just leave it on a shelf. So I replaced the light seals, put in a roll of Rollei Retro 400 film and went out for a walk. In this digital age it seemed like an eternity waiting for the film to be developed and scanned, but it was worth the wait. I love the way that the Retro 400 gives an almost infrared effect, making these grainy greenbelt landscapes full of mystery and menace.
