On the first night of lockdown, it was a novelty to see London's bustling streets devoid of life. Several weeks later deserted streets have become the norm, even if it still feels surreal. Normally-busy bridges and streets empty of traffic in the morning and evening rush hour, popular tourist and entertainment districts deserted on a Friday evening, and the busiest railway station in the UK devoid of commuters.
